We're eagerly anticipating the upcoming January through March '10' dogsledding season and are planning our trips to include all your favorite activities. We currently have several trips on the roster and are also working on adding a few 3 to 4 day trips. Our goal is to fit your schedule and are happy to customize any adventure.We are also inviting you to join us on any trip schedule that would better fit your needs.We've had several come that have mentioned the challenge of getting off work and away for the longer trips after allowing for their travel time. So we're encouraging you to make your own trip schedule and then contact us to accomodate your vacation plans.We're offering this an a first come first serve opportunity.We think this could be more convienient for first time mushers and folks with limited vacation time.

This is our first trip out of the new year and you're invited to come along as the season is now in full swing. We will head out on Monday,Jan.5th and camp along the trails that will be determined by the ice depths. We'll camp through Friday night as our journey comes to an end on Saturday. You're certain to return home with a new understanding of the wilderness and a love for the four legged friends you've made.
We'll meet on Mon.Jan. 5th for a week filled with fun and adventure! If the weather permits we will break camp in the wee hours of the night and hit the trails by moon light for an experience you'll cherish for a lifetime. It may not be easy to crawl out of a warm sleeping bag but the rewards will be overwhelming. The days are short and the nights long,so we'll also have a great chance to see the Northern Lights.
We'll leave out on Monday Jan. 19th for a journey into the frozen BWCA for an exciting week of dogsledding and camping. We will be traveling north to the Canadian border and stopping to take pictures of ancient pictographs. Your chances of seeing the spectacular Northern Lights are good as the nights are cold and long. You will definately have an adventure of a lifetime. You're sure to return home with some real bragging rights that you have earned.
Jump on your runners and lets get moving. We meet on Monday Jan. 26th and spend a week mushing throught the BWCA for an adventure you won't forget! Each day will bring new scenery that's sure to take your breath away. We'll be mushing our sleds along frozen lakes and through wilderness portages. Keep your camera close and take plenty of photos.
We'll head to the trails on Monday Feb. 2nd and enjoy a week full of adventure. Each day is getting a little longer so this will allow us to mush our dog teams deeper into the BWCA. This also gives us a better chance to view some of the native wildlife in the area. You can try your hand at ice fishing and if you make a catch we'll add that to our dinner menu. We'll sleep out under the stars and try to view the Northern Lights.
We'll pack our sleds and head to the trails on Monday Feb. 9th which is the full moon. Have you ever been mesmerized by the brightness of the full moon? If so, this might be the trip you're looking for. If mother nature cooperates and the skies are clear you're in for a treat. We'll pick the clearest night and do some mushing by moonlight. I promise it's a thrill and experience you'll never forget. The air is cold which the dogs love and the shadows and reflections in the snow covered wilderness is a priceless sight.
This trip gathers on Monday Feb. rd and spends a week out mushing through the BWCA. We'll travel along the Beartrap River and view some of the damage from the Blow Down of years past. This trail will wind along and take us deeper in the remote wilderness that we all love to experience. We'll camp and learn more about caring for the dog teams, survival in the wilderness and winter camping skills.
Come join us on Monday March nd for an exciting time of dogsledding and winter camping out in the remote BWCA. You're sure to find the survivor in yourself as we spend the night out in the wilderness along the Canadian border. Chop a hole in the ice and catch us some supper!Snap some breath taking photos! Its here again! Another full moon. We'll pack our sleds and mush away on Monday March th for a week of action packed adventure. Like our other Full Moon trips you'll get the chance to mush by moonlight if mother nature allows. This is a favorite among many of our repeat clients. Camping out during the week of the full moon offers an abundance of photo opportunities so jump on a sled and come join us!
Did you say SPRING BREAK? Its getting late in the season and Spring is around the corner. We'll meet on Monday March th, get our sleds loaded and and head out for a week or memory making dogsledding. These trips fill up fast as lots of folks are out of school and families are taking vacations. If you've ever considered trying dogsledding then this is your chance to mush a team of Siberian Huskies through the remote and pristine wilderness of the BWCA. If you like sand in your hair and everywhere then this might not be the trip for you. BUT if you're all about adventure and want to step out and broaden your horizons you had better tighten your boot laces, jump on the runners, and hold on tight to the handlebar! You're the kind we're looking for and we aim to make this a trip of a lifetime.
We'll gather on Monday March rd to head out on our Farewell Party trip of '10'. It's exciting to get out on the trail as the days are often longer than our energy levels. You'll spend time learning about winter camping and the care of our beloved Siberian Huskies. We'll try our hand at some ice fishing and take lots of photos along the way. A great time is an understatement, this will be an adventure you'll want to come back over and over for.
